Angela Griffo has 15 years of public relations experience helping high-tech clients garner positive press coverage and deliver compelling messages to their target market. Her expertise is in general consumer/business technology, new product announcements, media/analyst relations, PR strategy (business-to-business & business-to-consumer) and corporate communications. Prior to joining Trainer, Angela had her own business as a consultant working with Toshiba America Business Solutions, Targus, Ingram Micro and Autotask Corporation on media relations outreach with a particular emphasis on the reseller/channel press.
Prior to that, Angela was a Group Manager in the Orange County office of GolinHarris where she led the Toshiba Digital Products Division for five years. In that capacity, she was responsible for the launch of all of Toshiba’s mobile/wireless laptop/Tablet PC computing products, PDAs and business projectors as well as corporate communications outreach. Her work on the team was recognized with several Protos Awards on behalf of the Orange County PRSA as well as the coveted national PRSA Silver Anvil Award for the launch of Toshiba’s first Tablet PC.
Prior to joining GolinHarris, Angela managed PR and fundraising activities for the American Red Cross and has also managed public relations programs for law schools, fashion designers and real estate and legal professionals.
Angela received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of California Irvine. When not busy getting someone’s name in print, she can be found RVing and riding dirt bikes with her family or on the baseball field chasing her two-year-old daughter while trying to catch a glimpse of one of her two sons at bat. As a Southern Californian transplant from Las Vegas, she also enjoys a friendly game of Texas hold ‘em with friends and sunning at the beach.
