TRAINER COMMUNICATIONS TOUTED AMONG THE FASTEST GROWING PRIVATE COMPANIES IN THE EAST BAY

DANVILLE, Calif.—July 18, 2003 - Trainer Communications, a leading provider of strategic communications and public relations services for emerging high-technology companies and start-up initiatives, announced today that the East Bay Business Times has honored Trainer Communications in its annual ranking of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the Greater East Bay region. The company is featured in the July 18th edition of the East Bay Business Times. The company garnered additional prestigious exposure this week at the Globespan Capital Partners CEO Summit in Stockbridge, Massachusetts (Berkshires) where Trainer Communications founder and CEO, Susan Trainer, participated on a panel discussion before a select crowd of CEOs, CIOs, venture capitalists, and academics.

“Our selection as a Fast 50 Company is not only a reflection of our strong growth in 2002, but also our consistent year-over-year growth since our inception in 1995. Our growing client list is fueled by glowing referrals and strong deal flow from leading venture capitalists. We are on track to achieve another record growth year,” said Trainer.

Rapidly growing Trainer Communications exceeded all of the minimum qualifications established by the selection committee of the East Bay Business Times, including a three-year sales history with an increase in 2002 over 2000. In fact, Trainer grew more than 33 percent from 2000 to 2002. The East Bay Business Times honored Trainer Communications at a gala awards reception at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, California last night.

Earlier this week, Globespan Capital Partners welcomed Susan Trainer as the only communications expert at its CEO Summit in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Trainer participated on a panel entitled “Getting to Market” that reviewed strategies for start-up technology companies looking to differentiate themselves. Trainer led a dynamic discussion that also included Kevin Laracey, CEO of eDocs, Tom Reilly, CEO of Trigo Technologies, Denise Miano, vice president of emerging technologies for Moore Wallace Corp., and Richard Swanborg, president and founder of ICEX.
